Using Silicone Rubber

Silicone rubber is a versatile and durable material used to create molds for casting RESINPRO crystal epoxy resin. This material is highly valued for its flexibility and heat resistance, making it ideal for reproducing precise details. RESINPRO offers a wide range of silicone rubbers suitable for various applications.

Preparation of Casting Material

Before proceeding with casting in silicone rubber, it is essential to prepare the material to be poured. You can use RESINPRO colored epoxy resin with pigments or add decorative elements such as dried flowers, small objects, or glitter. Thoroughly mix the material to ensure an even distribution of colors and added elements.

Pouring into Silicone Rubber

Once the casting material is prepared, it's time to pour it into the silicone rubber. Before proceeding, make sure the mold is clean and thoroughly dry. Gently pour the material into the mold, being careful not to create air bubbles. For optimal results, it is advisable to pour the material slowly and steadily.

Curing Times and Removing the Manufact

After pouring the material into the silicone rubber, it is important to follow the manufacturer's recommended curing times. Once the curing is complete, you can proceed with removing the manufactured piece from the mold. Carefully detach the piece from the silicone rubber mold. If necessary, you can refine the edges or remove any imperfections.
