What materials do you need for Resin Art? List of products for the most popular Resin Art techniques

To make it easier for you to choose materials for creating Resin Art work, we have prepared a list of our products for the most popular techniques 🙂

Accessories for working with resin

Without these accessories, working with resin can feel unnecessarily difficult. The following list is relevant for most projects:

Digital scale (resin is mixed strictly according to the specified proportions by grams), a burner/gas heat gun (to remove air bubbles from the resin surface) and other accessories (cups, sticks, etc., so that you are able to effectively mix the resin).

Resin Art – Abstract art

To create epoxy resin abstractions on art-boards, serving boards and other surfaces, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Resin “Art Pro” (medium viscosity, recommended for beginners) or “Art Pro Deluxe” (very thick, recommended for experienced artists):

Resin Art – Ocean art

To create epoxy resin ocean art works on art-boards, serving boards and other surfaces, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Art Pro Deluxe (very thick resin is needed)

Resin Art – Marble effect

To create epoxy resin “marble” artworks on art-boards, serving boards and other surfaces, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Resin “Art Pro” (medium viscosity, recommended for beginners) or “Art Pro Deluxe” (very thick, recommended for experienced artists):

  2. Art boards:

  3. Resin dyes and pigments:
    a) Beige (or white mixed with oxide yellow colours) + white + black liquid dye.
    b) gold or bronze pop-up metallic pigment.

Resin Art – Coasters and trays

To create epoxy resin coasters and trays, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Resin “Art Pro” (medium viscosity, ideal for colourful items) and Trasparente (ideal for transparent items):

  2. Silicone moulds for coasters and trays:


    Custom moulds can also be made using silicone rubber IGUM and glossy film Shiny shield:

Jewellery and decor

To create epoxy resin jewellery and other small decor, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Very liquid epoxy resin (for beginners we recommend resin “Trasparente”)

  2. Silicone moulds for jewellery

  3. Resin dyes and decor (Gilding, glitter):

  4. Sanding and polishing

Petri Art

To create epoxy resin Petri Art works, we recommend using the following materials:

  1. Resin “Art Pro” (medium viscosity, recommended for beginners):

  2. Silicone moulds

  3. Alcohol-based inks*:

* – To create a Petri effect, in addition to other colours, “White-white” is needed. After each drop of coloured ink, dense white ink drips onto the resin surface in the same place.
