Clean the Table and Prepare the Surface

Start by removing any old finishes, dust, or grease from your table. Sand the surface smooth, using progressively finer grit sandpaper to ensure the resin will adhere evenly. Wipe down the entire table with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully. Focus on achieving a contaminant-free area, as even small dirt particles can show through the final resin layer.

Mask off edges or underside areas you do not want covered. Place the table on a level, protected surface in a well-ventilated and dust-free room. If your table is made of porous wood, consider using a sealing step to prevent air bubbles during the resin pour.

Mix and Pour the Resin

Measure your resin and hardener according to the manufacturer’s instructions, mixing thoroughly until the solution turns clear and even. Make sure to mix slowly to avoid introducing excess air. Pour the prepared resin across the table’s surface, allowing it to self-level. Use a spreader or brush as needed to help distribute the resin.

If you are working with thick pours for dramatic depth (such as a river table), choose a deep pour resin like “EpoxyTable 5-Five” for up to 5cm layers, or “Epoxytable 10-Ten” if your project demands up to 10cm casting in a single pour. For surface or finer design layers up to 2cm, “Trasparente” resin is ideal.

Pop surface bubbles gently using a heat gun or blowtorch held at a distance, but take care not to overheat any one area.

Cure and Polish the Finished Surface

Allow the resin to cure as directed (often 24–72 hours), keeping the table covered to protect from dust and debris. Avoid moving or disturbing your project until it has fully hardened. Once cured, sand the resin if needed starting with a medium grit and working up to very fine grit for a silky finish.

Polish the surface using a resin-specific polish or the polishing components supplied with all-in-one kits to achieve a deep gloss and professional appearance. Buff thoroughly and admire your transformed table!
